Privacy

This page explains what Moral Damage stores and why. Moral Damage is published by Damage Dept.

What we hold about hosts

  • Your email address, display name and sign-in credentials (handled by our authentication provider).
  • Your subscription and purchase status. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
  • Your Damage Points history, referral code and the dilemmas you submit.

What we hold about players at the table

Players do not have accounts. A host may type first names and choose Male or Female for each player, and may save players and groups to keep statistics. That information belongs to the host account, is visible only to that host, and is never shown publicly.

Game data

We store each game so it can be resumed and so cards can be improved: which dilemma was shown, the answer chosen, the predictions made, Pressure decisions, skips and ratings. Answers are kept secret from the device until they are revealed in the game.

Anonymous statistics

After an answer is revealed the game may show aggregate figures such as how many players chose the same option. These are anonymous, combine many games, and are only shown once enough answers exist that no individual can be identified.

Cookies

We use a sign-in cookie, limited to this site, and a short-lived cookie that remembers an invite link until you finish registering. We do not use advertising cookies.

Emails

We send account emails only: confirming your address and resetting your password.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data or for your account and its saved players, groups and game history to be deleted. Contact details will be listed here before launch.
